Retable of St. Anne

17th century
Divine Savior Collegiate Church, Seville, Spain

The church's guide pamphlet lists this altarpiece as "anonymous" and from the 17th century. The label in the church says José Montes de Oca carved of the central statue group in 1714. Above that group, left to right, are St. Leander of Seville, the Virgin of Carmen, and St. Isidore of Seville. Left and right of the St. Anne group are St. Joachim (with the sheep that is often his attribute) and St. Anthony of Padua (with the Christ Child, as usual in this era). The label says the painting below St. Joachim is of St. Teresa of Avila.
